About SBI-Classroom
I started SBI-Classroom.com after I was accepted by SiteSell
as an official SBI Instructor. I wanted a home base on the web
to share what I have learned about creating successful websites
over the years.
After a career of over 20 years in the publishing and
advertising biz I came away with a good understanding
of marketing cycles, advertising and website design. Like many
others, I thought my incredible talents would propel me to instant
riches on the wild, wild web...
I quickly learned that offline marketing and online marketing
certainly had similarities but there were also vast differences.
It is in this gap that failure lay for so many webpreneurs.
After building several beautifully designed (if I do say so myself)
but spectacular flops I began in earnest to find out what was
going so terribly wrong. I started paying closer attention to
what the so-called internet marketing "gurus" were saying.
Of course there was (and still is) no shortage of fly-by-night
schemes and scams but slowly out of the morass a clearer picture
began to emerge. Once the arcane mysteries of internet marketing
had been revealed it became obvious why so many well designed
(and expensive) websites fail miserably.
I've had the good fortune to learn from some of the best
including Ken Evoy — the founder of SiteSell.
Several Years Later...
Well, it's been several years since I fist ventured out onto
the web in search of fame and fortune. And I've learned a lot
on the way. As I mentioned, I was even accepted as a Site Build
It! (SBI!) Instructor with SiteSell Education and that's when
this site was born.
I've always enjoyed teaching and helping others achieve
their goals and just as my mentors have shared their
knowledge that helped me bridge the gap I hope that this site
will help you to also build a successful business using the internet.
After I discovered SiteSell and their extensive set of tools
called Site Build It! I knew it was for me. It just made sense.
It meshed with what every respected internet marketer was saying
and SBI! provided all the tools necessary to research,
build and promote my sites.
For example, these two websites are related to two things I am
passionate about. Australian Shepherds (my Aussie Levi was the
inspiration) and helping schools, businesses and individuals to
overcome bullying.

Although I designed these sites and created my own HTML pages
using Photoshop and Dreamweaver you don't have to know
any of that stuff if you are using the SBI! tools to build your
site.
SBI! provides templates for you to choose from and has an online
web page builder that is very simple to use. Anyone can build
a website with SBI! If you know how to send an email you
pretty much have all the technical skills you need.
Of course, if you are a seasoned webmaster and want to create
your own pages SBI! is designed to give you that flexibility.
However, SBI! is more than JUST a website creation tool.
It's a complete step-by-step internet marketing course, a keyword
and market research tool, an email marketing program, a search
engine optimizer, a link exchange program, and on and on... you
get the idea.
